Životopis
Petr Hamerský (*2004) je mladý český violoncellista. V současné době studuje na HAMU v Praze ve třídě Michala Kaňky a zároveň působí v Orchestrální akademii České filharmonie.
S úspěchem se zúčastnil řady mezinárodních soutěží, titul laureáta si odvezl např. z Antonio Janigro Cello Competition, Talents for Europe, Prague Cello Competition či z Heranovy violoncellové soutěže.
Sólově vystoupil s PKF - Prague Philharmonia a s Filharmonií Hradec Králové, se kterou provedl zřídka hraný Koncert pro violoncello a dechový orchestr Friedricha Guldy.
Kromě sólových aktivit se Petr věnuje rovněž komorní hře, a to v různých nástrojových kombinacích. Vedle klavírního tria Vyšehrad vystupuje i ve smyčcovém duu s Danielem Matejčou, vítězem soutěže Eurovision Young Musician. V roce 2024 pak spolu s kolegy z Orchestrální akademie ČF založil Kubitovo kvarteto.
Petr začal hrát na violoncello pod vedením Karly Ahmedové na ZUŠ Na Popelce a poté pokračoval pod vedením Renaty Strašrybkové, nejprve soukromě a posléze několik let na Pražské konzervatoři. Tu absolvoval ve třídě Pavla Vernera.
Zúčastnil se řady masterclassů s renomovanými světovými profesory, jako např. s Jérômem Pernoo, Giovanni Gnocchim či Sebastianem Klingerem. Z českých violoncellistů měl možnost zlepšovat se pod vedením Tomáše Jamníka a Viléma Vlčka.
Petr hraje na francouzské violoncello z 60. let 19. století z mirecourtské dílny Charlese Simonina.
Biography
Petr Hamerský (*2004) is a young czech cellist. Currently
he´s studying under Michal Kaňka at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague
and is a member of the Orchestral Academy of Czech Philharmonic.
He has succesfully participated in a number of international competitions, such as Antonio Janigro Cello Competition, Talents for Europe, Prague Cello Competition or Mahler Cello Competition (laureate titles from all of them).
He has performed with PKF – Prague Philharmonie and Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra, with that he played a rarely performed Concerto for Cello and Wind Orchestra by Friedrich Gulda.
Besides his solo activities, Petr is also an active chamber musician. He plays in a string duo with Daniel Matejča, winner of the Eurovision Young Musician, and in the piano trio Vyšehrad. In 2024, Petr founded Kubita Quartet with his colleagues from the Czech Philharmonic Orchestral Academy.
He started playing cello under Karla Ahmedová at ZUŠ Na Popelce at the age of 6. Afterwards, he continued his studies in the class of Renata Strašrybková. In 2024, Petr graduated the Prague Conservatory in the class of Pavel Verner. Currently he´s studying at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under Michal Kaňka.
Petr has participated in a lot of masterclasses too. He took lessons with Jérôme Pernoo, Giovanni Gnocchi, Sebastian Klinger, Tomáš Jamník and Vilém Vlček.
Petr plays a french cello from the second half of the 19th century by Charles Simonin.
